We offer a wide range of guided walking experiences in Snowdonia, the Lake District and the Peak District. From gentle countryside strolls to demanding high mountain scrambles.

Hill Skills

Get more out of the outdoors with our hill skills. We coach navigation from beginners to advanced with map and compass and with GPS. We also offer an introduction to scrambling and much more.

Special Interest

Working with professionals in other fields we combine an exciting outdoor experience with your special interest. Regular events include gap year training and outdoor photography.

Charity & Groups

We can design and organise an outdoor event for your group, be it corporate or just a bunch of friends getting together to raise money for a charity or to develop your team's performance.

Dave Ascough - Mountain Leading offers a programme of navigation courses, hill skills and guided walks in The Peak District, The Lake District, The Yorkshire Dales and Snowdonia. We can also organise tailor-made events just for you. We use only highly experienced and professionally qualified guides on all of our walks.
